Marcela Sanchez, Outreach Coordinator
OC-HOPE-Center-Elmer-Flores.jpg

Marcela Sanchez brings several years of experience in the field of homeless services, with a strong commitment to advocacy, coordination of care, and community support. She began her work in the field as a Case Manager, where she provided direct services to individuals experiencing homelessness, helping them navigate housing resources, supportive services, and pathways toward stability. Through her dedication and leadership, Marcela advanced into a Site Manager role at a homeless shelter, where she oversaw daily operations, supported staff, and ensured a safe and supportive environment for residents. Marcela holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from California State University, Long Beach, which informs her trauma-informed and client-centered approach to service delivery.

Marcela joined The HOPE Center of Orange County in January 2025 and is passionate about continuing to serve individuals experiencing homelessness throughout North Orange County while helping connect them to meaningful pathways toward housing and long-term sustainability.

When Marcela isn’t serving her community, she enjoys spending time with loved ones, traveling, and engaging in activities that support her community and personal growth.
